Tell me when these go live
When your hands are covered in glue, unlocking a phone is the last thing you want to do. These kits are only at our market stalls for now. Leave your email and we'll write to you the day they open on the site — and when new pieces join the range.
New kits and colour ideas, nothing else. Unsubscribe any time.
Questions
- My feather piece came out slightly too big.
- Trim it while it's still on the paper backing, a hair at a time. It's easier to take away than to start again.
- The glue squeezed out past the edge.
- Let it cure completely, then lift it away with the tip of a blade. Wiping wet glue spreads it into the feather.
- Which order should the colours go in?
- There's no wrong order. Light to dark is the easiest to get right, but the piece is yours.
- On the initial pendant, do I cut out the letter?
- No — the opposite. The letter is raised gold and stays bare. You cut the pieces that fill the spaces around it.
- Can I make this without the tools?
- You'll want fine scissors and tweezers at minimum. Ordinary craft scissors won't hold a clean line on feather.
Stuck on something? Or know what we should make next?
Every message is read by the people who made your kit. Three things we'd especially like to hear:
- Where you got stuck — which kit, which step. A photo helps.
- Which piece you'd like us to turn into a kit — we choose the next ones from what you ask for.
- Anything the film didn't explain well — we can reshoot a step.
