Eight kits, three methods We didn't film all eight — we filmed the three ways of working, because that's what actually differs. Your kit uses one of them. The shapes change; the craft doesn't.
Before you start: your glue Use the adhesive supplied in your kit. A little goes a long way — a thin layer inside the traced line is all you need. Too much soaks through and dulls the feather's colour, and that cannot be undone. Work somewhere with air moving through; it has a strong smell and sets faster than you'd think.

    Questions

    My feather piece came out slightly too big.
    Trim it while it's still on the paper backing, a hair at a time. It's easier to take away than to start again.
    The glue squeezed out past the edge.
    Let it cure completely, then lift it away with the tip of a blade. Wiping wet glue spreads it into the feather.
    Which order should the colours go in?
    There's no wrong order. Light to dark is the easiest to get right, but the piece is yours.
    On the initial pendant, do I cut out the letter?
    No — the opposite. The letter is raised gold and stays bare. You cut the pieces that fill the spaces around it.
    Can I make this without the tools?
    You'll want fine scissors and tweezers at minimum. Ordinary craft scissors won't hold a clean line on feather.
