The Craft — Diancui Feather Inlay→
Handcrafted using the traditional Dian Cui (feather inlay) technique, the petals are inlaid with real parrot feather that shifts naturally from turquoise to emerald green — no paint is used; this is nature's own palette. We work with the delicate, smaller plumes of the parrot, each a tiny canvas roughly 12 mm by 2.5 mm.
Every feather is hand-cut and applied with precision, a meditative art of immense patience that imbues the piece with its gem-like glow. Because all our jewelry is made by hand, slight variations in pattern and colour guarantee yours is one of a kind.
