About the craft Aether’s Atelier reinterprets the visual language of dian cui, a historical Chinese feather-inlay tradition, for contemporary jewellery. Small feather sections are selected and placed to build colour inside a metal form. No kingfisher feathers are used. Because feather carries natural variation, the direction and pattern can differ subtly from one piece to another; those differences are part of the material rather than a printing defect.
